The Ruins was a named Point Of Interest in Battle Royale which was added to the map in Chapter 2 Season 4, located inside the coordinates D4, D5, E4 and E5, south of Risky Reels, east of Salty Springs, southwest of Stark Industries and southeast of Doom's Domain. It was a heavily worn down and broken version of The Authority. Shadow Midas patrolled the area with his Mythic Shadow Midas' Drum Gun. This location was added for Fortnitemares: Midas' Revenge.

- The Authority was partially destroyed and taken over by Shadow Midas, and has turned into The Ruins.
V14.50[]
- Midas' chair, the candles, Shadow Midas, and all Henchmen have disappeared due to the end of Fortnitemares: Midas' Revenge.
- Trees are growing
The Devourer Of Worlds Event[]
- The Zero Point was revealed to be under the center island, after Galactus ripped it out of The Ruins.
- In the aftermath of the event, the middle island was completely destroyed and a desert took it's place. The Zero Point is above the middle of the biome, which has a pink color to it.
Trivia[]
- This is the third named location to be at the center island in Chapter 2.
- This is not the first time the center island has been corrupted, as Eye Land during Fortnitemares (2019) became Isle Of The Storm.
- The Ruins is the 2nd shortest living version of the middle island, existing for only 6 weeks. (14.40 to Chapter 2 Season 5) The 1st was Isle Of The Storm.
