The Loop

The Loop

The Loop is another mystery that has not been fully explained yet. (Making this Wiki a bit challenging to make) All we know so far is that The Loop has something to do with characters talking intelligibly, and The Storm. The Zero Point is likely a portal to get in/out of The Loop. In a nutshell, it restarts everything/everyone it influences every 22 minutes.

Evolution Of The Loop

Around the end of Season 10, The Loop was mentioned in many of the Visitor Tape Recordings. In those recordings, The Visitor would explain that everyone/the entire island was stuck in a giant time loop. During The End Event, The Seven used all of their 7 Rockets to guide the Meteor into the Zero Point, which resulted it in sucking all of the island into a Black Hole. This was an attempt to stabilize the Zero Point.

In late Chapter 2 Season 2, Midas build a device used to destroy the storm. He was possibly trying to break the Loop. He ultimately failed after a long duel between the device and storm. The storm flooded the island as revenge, and it lasted for most of Chapter 2 Season 3.

After the aftermath of the Devourer Of Worlds Event, The Zero Point was severely damaged. Agent Jonesy was alerted by this. In the Chapter 2 Season 5 Story Trailer, Jonesy went into a room (That also likely has something to do with the loop) and located the best hunters from all galaxy (The Mandalorian, Reese, Mancake, Mave, Kondor, Lexa, and Menace.) to stop everyone from escaping the loop by ensuing chaos. Earlier in the trailer, Doctor Slone tells him not to attract The Seven while fixing the situation they were in. (Proving that The Seven are against the I.O.)

One of the characters, Bunker Jonesy, has info on the loop, however, is refusing to tell us. He is the oldest Jonesy in the game, while the others are just older snapshots of Jones. Therefore, he knows more than almost anyone else on the island.
