The Six Shooter was a pistol in Battle Royale. It is available in Uncommon, Rare, and Epic variants. The Six Shooter holds 6 bullets in its cylinder (hence its name). The Six Shooter could be hip-fired for rapid fire rate, or aimed for better accuracy. It has a headshot multiplier of x2.0. It uses Medium Bullets. The Six Shooter may have been a spiritual successor to the Battle Royale Revolver, another handgun that was vaulted at the beginning of September. It was released as part of the Fortnitemares event. The Six Shooter was vaulted on Patch 7.10 Content Update #3, therefore making it only available in Playground, Creative, Wild West LTM, and 50v50. The Six Shooter was Vaulted to make room for the unvaulting of Dual Pistols and it was not used a lot in game. However the Six Shooter was unvaulted on 10.00 Content Update but could only be found in Tilted Town. With the removal of Tilted Town in the Batman Update, the Six Shooter has been added back to the vault. In Patch 11.0, the Six Shooter was removed from Playground mode along with all other vaulted weapons.
The player should have been at least one tile (length of a floor piece) away from the target when hip-firing, as the Six Shooter had an incredible amount of crosshair bloom, though aiming reduced bloom drastically while suffering more obvious fall-off.
Trivia[]
The Six Shooter is one of the only two pistols that are fully automatic (the other being the Dual Pistols, but the Dual Pistols were since vaulted on Patch 9.30).
The Six Shooter is based off the Ruger Super Blackhawk, a Western style single action revolver created in 1950s and 1960s.
Many players hate the Six Shooter, and it was vaulted in Season 7, because its fire rate can be reduced to 2 for the best accuracy, the damage drop off is significant, magazine size is just 6, limiting its capabilities.
This weapon is one of the 3 weapons that still have the old pickup sound, the other 2 are the Revolver and the Flashlight Pistol.
The Six Shooter is one of the few guns that when "hipfired" (firing without aiming down sights) is actually fired from the hip of the character instead of on or above the shoulder. (The other guns being the Drum Gun, the Minigun, the Dragon's Breath Shotgun, and the Grenade Launcher.)
