The Sentry, previously known as the Gunner, is a creative device that has the ability to aim and fire weapons at players within a specified range. It can either equip a Common Tactical Shotgun (67 damage), Common Assault Rifle (30 damage), Common Pistol (23 damage), or a Legendary Rocket Launcher (121 damage). Its health and shield can also be set to 1, half, full, or invincible. Additionally, it has a customizable respawn, range, accuracy, target style, adaptive aim, and team.

Patch 8.00 (February 28, 2019)
- Players can now customize the team a Sentry is assigned to.
- Renamed the “Gunner” Device to “Sentry”.
- Added new Options to the Sentry.
- Added health and shield options.
- Added respawn options.
- Added accuracy and attack range options.
- Added target style, line of sight, and proximity options.
- Added adaptive aim option to determine whether or not the Sentry’s aim improves over time.
- Added attack range visualization when players stand on the Sentry plate.

- New Devices added:
- Gunner - Stands and shoots at any player within a 2 tile radius.
- Choose between Pistol, Shotgun, Assault Rifle, or Rocket Launcher.

- 1. The base will only have the amount of hitpoints as the surface it is placed on.
- 3. The Sentry can have 1 health, half health, full health, plus no shield, half shield, and full shield, or be invincible
- 4. The Sentry can wield one of four weapons: Common Tactical Shotgun (67 damage), Common Assault Rifle (30 damage), Common Pistol (23 damage), or a Legendary Rocket Launcher (121 damage)
