Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle was a Sniper Rifle in Battle Royale. It is available in Uncommon, Rare and Epic, Legendary (Spy Games only) variants and has a head shot multiplier of 2.5x. It uses Heavy Bullets. The Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle was Vaulted in Patch 6.21, then unvaulted on Patch 9.10 but was Re-vaulted on Patch 10.00. The Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle was vaulted a second time because since the Storm Scout Sniper Rifle was just introduced. It may have also been vaulted due to a nerf in the scope that probably made the weapon useless as a sniper since it now has reduced zoom.

The Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle used to be available in Epic and Legendary variants, but the rarities were decreased to Uncommon and Rare variants following Patch 5.40, but the Epic variant returned in Patch 12.20 and Legendary variant returned in Patch 12.30.

The Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle is available in its Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary variants in the Spy Games LTMs during the Spy Games event in Chapter 2, Season 2.

The Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle might make a return in the future because it was shown in the new Houseparty Trailer.

Holding he trigger won't work since the gun is Semi-automatic, to make it actually having a fire rate of 6.75, you will have to tap the trigger 6.75 times a sec. Though, when this version got introduced it was fully-automatic, it eventually got fixed back to semi-automatic and it was too overpowered.

  • Rarity color adjustments (NOTE: The original percentages for drops were incorrect. We have since updated the percentages to clarify the exact change to the weapons).
  • Some items have been removed or modified to better reflect their effectiveness. This only affects their colors and other characteristics are unchanged.
  • Semi-Auto Sniper rifle decreased from Epic and Legendary to Uncommon and Rare.
  • Increased the frequency that the Semi-Auto sniper rifles drop to align more with their rarity class.
  • Increased Uncommon Semi-Auto sniper drop chance from 1.22% to 2.06%
  • Increased Rare Semi-Auto sniper drop chance from 0.13% to 0.96%

Strategy

  • Although the Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle was not as powerful as the Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle or the Hunting Rifle, its greater magazine capacity of 10 rounds made it an excellent weapon to suppress the enemy at long distances and you had a chance to hit them again after missing a shot, but the enemy would have most likely detected you and started defending themselves.
  • The Epic and Legendary variants of the weapon in spy games had the same fire rate of the Pistol of 6.75, but with a way higher dps and could kill someone with a headshot of 202.5 and 212.5 in the 2 variants respectively.
  • Headshots provide great damage, but still lacked power against targets with full health and shields. (Except for Epic and Legendary since they one-shot a opponent with full health and shields.)
