Unlike most pistols, its fully automatic, meaning that you can constantly fire the weapon by holding down the trigger.
The Primal Pistol does roughly the same boby and headshot damage as the Six Shooter, but with slower fire rate and worse spread.
If fact two body shots deals more than 60 damage, while two headshot deals almost 150, except the Legendary variant that deals 156.
The Primal Pistol fire roughly one burst every second, in fact it has the slowest fire rate for pistols, so its useless for breaking structures and suppressing enemies (just like the Thermal Scoped Assault Rifle).
If the player has good aim and luck with their accuracy, they can replace a shotgun, doing similar damage with a similar fire rate to that of a Pump Shotgun.
The Primal Pistol's fire rate to damage ratio can't allow them to replace a submachine gun, maybe just a weak assault rifle. However, its able to do good damage to follow up a good hit from a shotgun.
There is slight upwards recoil between the first and second shot.
They have a limited magazine size and a moderate reload time. Be careful and don't waste your bullets.

The Primal Pistol bears a resemblance to the Dirge Song from Save the World. Strangely, it has some of the characteristics of it (being that it's burst-fire).
This is arguably worst than both a Six Shooter and Dual Pistols, dealing similar damage and being automatic, but having slower fire rate, smaller magazine size and lack of FSA.
Medium Bullets and has a headshot multiplier of x2.0 (doing 66/70/74/78 damage depending on it's rarity). The Primal Pistol is actually the third pistol to be burst-fire, the first two being the Dual Pistols and Dual Suppressed Pistols.
