Operation Snowdown was a holiday-themed Battle Royale and Creative event introduced with Patch 15.10. The event began on 18th December 2020 (The same day as 14 Days of Fortnite and Winterfest) and ended on 5th January 2021. During this period the Battle Bus's design was changed to a Holiday theme. Because of the Lawsuit between Epic Games and Apple, Operation Snowdown wasn't available on Apple devices however the Battle Bus's design was changed to a Holiday theme during the event.

Operation Snowdown Quests[]
Operation Snowdown Quests are an exclusive Chapter 2 Season 5 set of challenges for Winter and Christmas that released on 18th December 2020. The Quests are limited and are given around two weeks to be completed, ending on 5th January 2021. Every 24 hours a new quest was unlocked until the 2nd January 2021.

Map Changes[]
The snowy area on the map grew larger covering the south west area. Also during the event Snowmando Outposts were added, these were the only locations where X-4 Stormwing's could be found.
