Medbots appear as a Plankerton side quest M*E*D*B*O*T*S. It is a survivor quest. A medbot is standing next to a crawling survivor.
You can activate medbot to rescue the survivor but you don't have to hurry. The survivor on all fours is quite safe from husk attacks. Approach the medbot and survivor after husks have been removed. If you are lucky there are no active husks nearby.
Medbot is easy to find from the map. It is located in middle of a white circle. Usually there is only one medbot in each map.
To rescue the survivor you have to activate the medbot.
