The Makeshift Shotgun is a Shotgun in Battle Royale. It is available in Common, Uncommon, and Rare variants. It uses Shells 'n' Slugs and has a headshot multiplier of x1.25. The Makeshift Shotgun is similar to the Pump Shotgun albeit with a faster fire rate, shorter reload time, slightly tighter spread and only two shots.
It can be used to craft the Primal Shotgun and the Pump Shotgun.

Crafting
The Makeshift Shotgun can craft an Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Primal Shotgun or Pump Shotgun. For the Primal weapons, Animal Bones are needed. For standard loot, Mechanical Parts and needed.

Strategy
- The Makeshift Shotgun is a good choice for early game until one gets their hands on either a Primal or Pump Shotgun.
- The Common to Rare Makeshift Shotgun does more damage than the Common and Uncommon Pump Shotgun, and counting its fire rate (higher than the Heavy Shotgun but lower than the Tactical Shotgun) makes it even better than a Rare Pump Shotgun.
- However, the weapon is limited by a magazine size of two and its low headshot multiplier of x1.25.
- All of this means that a Makeshift Shotgun would be only better than a Common Pump Shotgun (that is currently vaulted).

- The Makeshift Shotgun bears a resemblance to the Husk Buster from Save the World.
- This is arguably the worst Shotgun to use in late game scenarios, due to it having a low magazine.
- It is a cross between the Pump Shotgun and Double Barrel Shotgun
- It is one of the five Makeshift weapons in Battle Royale.
