The Makeshift Rifle is an Assault Weapon in Battle Royale. It is available in Common, Uncommon, and Rare variants. It uses Medium Bullets and has a headshot multiplier of x1.5. The Makeshift Rifle does the same damage as the Assault Rifle albeit with slightly lower fire rate, longer reload time, smaller magazine, and no first shot accuracy.

The Makeshift Rifle is used to craft the Primal Rifle and the Assault Rifle.

It shares some characteristics of the Heavy Assault Rifle.

The Makeshift Rifle can craft an Uncommon, Rare, or Epic Primal Rifle or Assault Rifle. For the Primal weapons, Animal Bones are needed. For standard loot, Mechanical Parts and needed.

Strategy

• The Makeshift Rifle is a good choice for early game until one gets their hands on either a Primal or Assault Rifle. It has decent range and damage.
• The weapon does not have first shot accuracy, so this weapon is better only at close-mid range.
• It has a slower fire rate compared to the Assault Rifle and Primal Rifle, making this slightly worse than the other.
• It has a low magazine count, so it is better off to get rid of it as soon as possible when you get the Primal or Assault Rifle.
• Even bows can take a player down using this, so be careful

Trivia

• The Makeshift Rifle bears a resemblance to the Buzzcut Rifle from Save the World.
• It bears slight resemblance to the old Burst Assault Rifle.
• This is arguably the worst AR to use in late game scenarios, due to it having a low magazine and fire rate.
• It is one of the five Makeshift weapons in Battle Royale.
