The Lever Action Rifle is a Sniper Rifle in Fortnite Battle Royale. It used to be available in Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary variants and has a headshot multiplier of 2.0x. It uses Heavy Bullets and its semi-automatic. This weapon is most likely a crossover between the Infantry Rifle and the Hunting Rifle. It behaves similar to that of a shotgun, too, especially the reload animation. It's the first new Sniper Rifle to be added to the default loot pool in Chapter 2
In Patch 15.20, the Lever Action Rifle was introduced in Creative together with its Legendary variant, that before this update it was unused. It also has new pullout and reload sounds.
In Patch 15.40, a new Common variant was introduced, though it is only available in the brand new Comeback LTM.
The Lever Action Rifle along with the Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle have been vaulted with Patch 16.00. In this update, snipers have been replaced by bows.

Strategy[]
- Although the Lever Action Rifle is not as powerful as the Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle, its greater magazine capacity of 9 rounds makes it a good weapon to suppress the enemy at medium-long distances and you had a chance to hit them again after missing a shot, but the enemy would have most likely detected you and started defending themselves.
- Headshots provide great damage, but still lacked power against targets with full health and shields.
- When you hip-fire it shoots slightly faster, similiar to the Six Shooter.
- This is attributed to its excellent accuracy when not aiming, making it useful as a followup to a shotgun or to take walls (However it deals less damage to structures than other sniper rifles or even shotguns).
- Like with the Crossbow, you can also "Double-Pump", in this case Double-Sniper, with it, so that it bypasses the reload animation between bullets.
- The projectile travels almost equal to that of the Automatic Sniper Rifle, making it more useful for longer distances, due to its lack of the scope.
Trivia[]
- The Lever Action Rifle its a crossover between the Hunting Rifle and the Infantry Rifle. In fact it resembles more of the OG Infantry Rifle, when it wasn't hitscan, with some Hunting Rifle and shotgun's properties.
- This weapon is also similar to the Crossbow, shooting faster and having a slightly larger magazine size, however it deals slightly less damage, its lack of a Scope and reloads one bullet at the time, instead of the full magazine.
- Before Patch 15.20, It had the same pullout and reloading sound as the Uncommon and Rare Hunting Rifle. After Patch 15.20, the pullout sound as the Epic and Legendary variants of the Burst Assault Rifle, albeit with a lower pitch.
- When it was leaked, there was also the Legendary variant, but it was unused like the Uncommon Automatic Sniper Rifle.
- However, the Legendary variant was later then added into Battle Royale and Creative with Patch 15.20.
- It is possibly based of a Winchester Model 1873 Rifle.
- It is the 3rd gun to use the same icon for all 5 rarities,the first being the rapid fire smg and the lever action shotgun,despite being added first,it only recieved it common variant in the 15.40 update
