Inspiration[]
- Karolina is based on Karolina Grochowska, an employee of Epic Games who helped program Fortnite Save the World. She worked for Epic starting in 2009 but passed away from cancer in October 2014. She was also known for her work on the Witcher series.[1] This survivor's description may be reference to her real life personality. She is credited in the beginning of the credits in-game along with Joel Crabbe.
