High Stakes Event is a limited-time event in Battle Royale.

During the PAX West, Epic Games release teasers that previews the items coming along with the event including a new cosmetic outfit set, LTM and challenges. Streams were also launched to give the first look of the upcoming High Stake features.

The Wild Card outfit and Getaway Gang set were released, alongside the Safecracker glider and the The Ace Starter Pack, containing 600 V-Bucks, The Ace skin, and the Swag Bag back bling. The Crowbar pickaxe and money contrail were unlockable in the High Stakes Challenges.
The Getaway (LTM)[]
The Getaway is a limited time mode where special airdrops spawn containing Jewels and you have to take them to 1 of 4 vans to win the game.
Jewels slow you down and regenerate shields while picked up, as well as making you considerably more visible and taking up an inventory slot.
High Stake Challenges[]
The high stakes challenges are
Pick up a Jewel 5 times to get the money contrail
Deal 500 damage to Jewel carriers to get the wild card spray
Play 10 matches of The Getaway to get 5k XP
Do all three to get the crowbar pickaxe
Win a getaway match to unlock the Crystal Llama (green variant)
Win 3 getaway matches to unlock the Crystal Llama (ruby variant)
Win 5 getaway matches to unlock the Crystal Llama (diamond variant)
Use a grappler in 5 different Getaway matches (5) to unlock the Getaway loading screen.
