A player disguised as a Ghost henchman, stepping from a phone booth.

Henchmen are non-player characters that function like Stormtroopers and Marauders. They were added in Chapter 2 Season 2, and can be found at new POIs. Henchmen always have full health & shield which can make them difficult in groups. If players use the "Shakedown" feature on a Henchman, it will show locations of nearby features such as chests, other henchmen, and bosses (eg. Doctor Doom ). It is possible to disguise as a henchman by using Phone Booths. This makes the AI henchmen ignore the player, unless the player shoots a weapon at a henchmen or a player, gets too close, or get shot by an opponent.

Henchmen[]

GHOST Henchmen[]

GHOST Henchmen are types of Henchmen that worked for an organization called Ghost. They always wear white suits, as well as a protective helmet. Starting Chapter 2 Season 3, they wore shorts. They usually carry suppressed weapons, but will also carry an Uncommon Pistol if they hold an Epic Suppressed Sniper Rifle. After The Ruins were added in replacement of The Authority, ghostly versions of these Henchmen reappeared, carrying Halloween themed weapons. However these henchmen were removed, one Henchmen has remained traveling around the map. He is currently at Craggy Cliffs.

GHOST Henchmen Chests[]

The GHOST Henchmen Chests can contain the following weapons.

SHADOW Henchmen[]

SHADOW Henchmen are similar types of Henchmen that worked for Shadow. They wore black suits, and covering masks. In Chapter 2 Season 3, they began to wear shorts. They usually carry heavy weapons, but if they are holding a Epic Heavy Sniper Rifle, they will also carry an Uncommon Pistol as well. These Henchmen could be found at The Authority. During Chapter 2 Season 2, Shadow Safe Houses were the main locations for Shadow. As the season progressed, The Grotto, The Rig and The Agency became locations for Shadow. However, all the safe houses were flooded or returned to normal before being taken over, and all the Spy Locations were either flooded or destroyed. The Agency was taken over as a the new Shadow location, The Authority. However, at the start of Chapter 2 Season 4, all but one of this Henchmen remains, and can be found in Craggy Cliffs.

Other Henchmen[]

In some of the Henchmen locations in Chapter 2 Season 2, unique Henchmen used to appear. These Henchmen had their own types of looks that fit their environment. These Henchmen can carry many different types of weapons, mostly regular SMGs and Assault Rifles. These Henchmen could be found at The Grotto, The Rig, and The Shark before they were either changed to Ghost or Shadow. In Chapter 2 Season 3, a new location appeared with another unique type of Henchmen. These Henchmen can be found at Catty Corner. In Chapter 2 Season 4, Pleasant Park was transformed into Doom's Domain, a location with another new type of Henchmen. Stark Robots are unique Henchmen that appear at Quinjet Patrol Sites and Stark Industries when it was added.

The Rig Henchmen[]

The old Rig henchmen were based on the Turk Vs Riptide outfit.

The Shark Henchmen[]

The old Shark henchmen were based on the Heist outfit.

The Grotto Henchmen[]

The old Grotto henchmen were based on the Sledge outfit.

Catty Corner Henchmen[]

The old Catty Corner henchmen were based on the Kitbash outfit.

Doom's Domain Henchmen[]

The Doom's Domain henchmen are based on Doctor Doom's outfit.

Stark Industries Henchmen[]

The Stark Industries henchmen, also known as Stark Robots, are based on the Iron Man outfit.

IO Guards[]

The IO Guards are very similar to the Enforcer outfit tor the Raven outfit.

Current Henchmen[]

There are currently no henchmen.

Bosses[]

Bosses are a similar type of Henchmen that represents a powerful character, most of the time representing the leader of their specific Henchmen. Six Battle Pass outfits from Chapter 2 Season 2 appeared at six locations while three Battle Pass outfits from Chapter 2 Season 3 appeared at three locations, three Battle Pass outfits from Chapter 2 Season 4 along with a unique outfit appeared at four locations. In Chapter 2 Season 5, the Boss system got changed slightly in the form of Characters. Some Characters are considered Bosses, and others aren't. They have 400 shields and 100 health, unlike normal henchmen with 50 shields and 100 health.

Current Bosses[]

Spire Guardian[]

Spire Guardians resemble the Tier 100 outfit for Chapter 2 Season 6, Spire Assassin. She patrols the 7 Spires and when killed drop the Mythic Primal Shotgun. They also drop some sort of ball. When said ball is submitted to a random hole in the side of The Spire (and ONLY that POI) the player is gifted with the Spire Jumpboots, also of Mythic rarity.

Raptor[]

Raptor, the Season 1 Item Shop outfit patrols the Crash Site POI. When eliminated, he becomes glowy and a character you can talk to. (The same goes for every single Boss added in Season 6, except for one.) When killed, Raptor drops the Rare Primal SMG and Grenades.

Zenith[]

Zenith, the Tier 1 outfit for Season 7 patrols the Weather Station POI which makes sense as he seems to be a mountain climber.

Blackheart[]

Blackheart, the Tier 1 Season 8 BP outfit patrols Viking Vessel, in replacement of Ragnarok.

The Good Doctor[]

The Good Doctor, nicknamed Jeckyll, patrols Steamy Stacks. Jeckyll is actually a fully passive character that you can talk to without having to kill first. However, at night, he turns into Hyde. He will then turn into a hostile boss that needs to be killed. After dying, he does not go all glowy.

Challengers[]

Big Chuggus[]

Big Chuggus, an Item Shop outfit, has been added as a boss Character, who can spawn at Slurpy Swamp and Shanty Town (POI). He patrols with his Epic Submachine Gun, and he is unlike the previous two bosses, as for him to drop his weapon, you first have to talk to him, accept a duel, and eliminate him.

Ragnarok[]

Ragnarok, the Tier 100 skin in the Season 5 Battle Pass has the same boss fight mechanic as Big Chuggus, and drops the same weapon. Ragnarok patrols at the new Viking Vessel POI.

Brutus[]

Brutus, the Level 20 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 2, who was originally a boss at The Grotto, has made his return as a Boss at Dirty Docks, and holds an Epic Submachine Gun, much like Ragnarok and Big Chuggus.

Kit[]

Kit, the Level 60 Battle Pass skin for Chapter 2 Season 3, has returned to patrol Catty Corner once again, but this time, he has an Epic Heavy Assault Rifle. This is probably because he is currently too young to use the Mythic Meowscles' Peow Peow Rifle.

Kondor[]

Kondor, the Level 60 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 5, has been introduced as a Boss, patrolling the street on the east of Misty Meadows with his Epic Pistol.

Former Bosses[]

Predator[]

Predator, the secret skin for Season 5 added as a boss in the 15.21 Update, who patrols Stealthy Stronghold with a Mythic Cloaking Device that allows you to go invisible for a short amount of time. He appears in the Character boos as #42. When killed, he drops the earlier mentioned mythic item, a Slurpfish, and a Common Pistol.

Ruckus[]

Ruckus is an Item Shop skin added as a boss in Chapter 2 Season 5, who patrols around Hydro 16 with an Epic Rocket Launcher and a Legendary Heavy Assault Rifle, who appears in the Character book as number 39 in the collection. (To clear things up, Characters are only considered Bosses if you can either talk and duel them, or they shoot you on sight.)

Mandalorian[]

The Mandalorian, the Level 1/100 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 5, patrols near The Razor Crest, southeast of Colossal Coliseum with his Mythic Amban Sniper Rifle and Mythic The Mandalorian's Jetpack. When fighting him in close range as a boss, he also uses a Mythic E-11 Blaster which he doesn't drop upon elimination.

Doctor Doom[]

Doctor Doom, the Level 67 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 4, made his own location which is now called Doom's Domain. Doctor Doom as a boss is in his default style. He most of the time roams either in his mansion, the Doom House, in the reopened safe house beneath the soccer field, now called the Vault of Doom, or a random location around his location. As he roams around, he has his special weapons which give him his powers. One weapon is Doctor Doom's Arcane Gauntlets, which allow players to do a slight double jump in the air, as well as shoot infinite blasts of energy from the gauntlets. Each blast deals 35 damage to players, and can also zap other nearby players from the direct target. The other weapon is Doctor Doom's Mystical Bomb, which allows a player to charge up a large energy bomb that can cause a large explosion while dealing a large amount of damage to an enemy and start a fire. This blast deals 60 damage and also knocks back the enemy that are hit. He also holds a keycard that opens the Vault of Doom.

Iron Man[]

Tony Stark, the Level 100 Battle pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 4, added a new location which is called Stark Industries. Tony Stark as a boss is in his Suit style. He roams in the largest building of Stark Industries, in his suit room or the meeting room above. He holds special powers that players can obtain by eliminating him. One weapon is Iron Man's Repulsor Gauntlets, allowing players to boost into the air and hover down as well as shoot infinite repulsor blasts. Each blast deals 20 damage and can target onto nearby players for better accuracy. The other weapon is Iron Man's Unibeam, allowing players to charge up a large beam that can blast through multiple builds and deal a large amount to damage to players in the line of fire, dealing 90 damage. He also holds a keycard that opens a vault at Stark Industries.

Wolverine[]

Wolverine, the special Battle Pass outfit of Chapter 2 Season 4 was added in Weeping Woods. Wolverine as a boss is in his default style. He roams around the woods, usually areas that are under multiple trees. He has no Henchmen, however has a special ability that allows him to regenerate rapidly, even allowing him to revive himself in the knocked state. He holds a special power that players can obtain by eliminating him. His weapon is Wolverine's Claws. This weapon allows players to fight with the claws of Wolverine, using multiple different moves. The default attack allows players to slash the claws around, however does a spin attack when in the air, able to destroy multiple structures at once, as well as a dash attack upon double jumping. This ability also regenerates health from the player that uses it, however regeneration does not heal shield or heal in The Storm.

Midas[]

Midas, the Level 100 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 2, appeared at The Agency. Midas as a boss was in the Ghost style before changing to his Shadow look at the end of the season. He usually appeared on either the bottom floor of the building, one of the staircases up the building, one of the halls in the building, or in the group meeting room. As Midas roamed around, he held his weapon, called Midas' Drum Gun. Midas' Drum Gun was dropped when he was defeated as well as his keycard to open the vault. The Drum Gun was fully gold when he and any other players held it, following the skin's rule, that when the skin touches a weapon, it remains gold throughout the match. His gun might have occasionally have the effects of a player's wrap, but it was only a bug. After the introduction to Chapter 2 Season 3, Midas no longer appeared anywhere.

Skye[]

Skye, the Level 80 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 2, appeared at The Shark. She used to be in her default look, but when the location became a Ghost location, she changed to her Ghost style. She would usually appear around the main floor, or a floor above the vault floor if not in the vault hall. Since The Shark changed its layout, her positioning became slightly different. As Skye roamed around, she held her weapon, called Skye's Assault Rifle. Skye's Assault Rifle was dropped when she was defeated as well as her keycard to open the vault and Skye's Grappler, an infinite shot Grappler. The Assault Rifle shot faster than the regular ones, and dealt slightly more damage than a Legendary one.

Meowscles[]

Meowscles, the Level 60 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 2, appeared originally at The Yacht, but eventually moved to the Box Factory. He was in his Shadow style, originally Ghost style. As Meowscles roamed around, he held his weapon, called Meowscles' Peow Peow Rifle and it's rarity is Mythic. Meowscles' Peow Peow Rifle was dropped when he was defeated, along with, interestingly, the keycard to open The Yacht vault, and a Fishing Rod. The Heavy Assault Rifle was similar to the other heavy rifles besides it doing slightly more damage than a Legendary one. Interestingly, Meowscles could emote, and occasionally used the Waterworks emote when he wasn't disturbed.

TNTina[]

TNTina, the Level 40 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 2, appeared at The Rig. She used to be in her default look, but when the location became a Shadow location, she changed to her Shadow style. As TNTina roamed around, she held her weapon, called TNTina's Ka-Boom Bow, a type of Boom Bow that had recharged shots like the Bandage Bazooka. Brutus[]

Brutus, the Level 20 Battle Pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 2, appeared at The Grotto. He used to be in his default look, but when the location became a Shadow location, he changed to his Shadow style as well. He usually appeared around the second floor of the large building in The Grotto. As Brutus roamed around, he held his weapon, called Brutus' Minigun, a Minigun that had the same stats as a Legendary one, but with a longer firing time and shorter cooldown. Brutus' Minigun was dropped when he was defeated as well as his keycard to open the vault.

Deadpool[]

Deadpool, the "secret" Battle pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 2, had appeared on the map during Week 7. He replaced Meowscles at The Yacht, usually appearing the similar locations that Meowscles would appear: in the main control room, in the dance area, or at the bedroom of The Yacht. As Deadpool roamed around, he held his weapon, called Deadpool's Hand Cannons, a type of Dual Pistols that were weak Hand Cannons but gave 3 effective health when dealing damage. Deadpool's Hand Cannons were dropped when he was defeated as well as his keycard to open the vault in The Yacht. Interestingly, Deadpool could emote, and occasionally did emotes like Statuesque, Make It Rain, or Dance Moves if not disturbed.

Jules[]

Jules, the Level 40 Battle pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 3, appeared at The Authority. She wore her default look. Since The Authority was very similar to The Agency, Jules appeared around in the same places Midas would: on the bottom floor, on the staircase, in the second or fourth floor hallway, or in the meeting room. As Jules roamed around, she held her weapon, called Jules' Drum Gun, along with Jules' Glider Gun and the keycard to the vault. Jules' Glider Gun worked similarly to the Batman Grapnel Gun, allowing players to grapple in the direction shot and activate the Ohm glider.

Ocean[]

Ocean, the Level 1 Battle pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 3, appeared at The Fortilla. She wore all her styles, every match was different. Ocean appeared at any of the large structures around the sides of The Fortilla or in the center building. As Ocean roamed around, she held her weapon, called Ocean's Burst Assault Rifle, a type of Burst Assault Rifle that had a larger magazine and did slightly more damage. Along with the rifle, she dropped Ocean's Chug Jug, an infinite, rechargeable healing item, and her keycard to the vault.

Kit[]

Kit, the Level 60 Battle pass skin of Chapter 2 Season 3, appeared at Catty Corner. He was in his default look. Since Catty Corner is an extension of the Box Factory where Meowscles used to be, Kit appeared around where he would: inside or around the factory, or in a new nearby gas station. As Kit roamed around, he held his weapon, called Kit's Charge Shotgun, a type of Charge Shotgun that had a larger magazine size. Along with the shotgun, he dropped Kit's Shockwave Launcher, a type of Grenade Launchers that instead shoots Shockwave Grenades, and his keycard to the vault.

Shadow Midas[]

Midas, the original boss of the building on the center of the map in Chapter 2 Season 2, returned to be the main plot for Fortnitemares 2020 as a temporary boss. Midas was different than before, as he was now a shadow version of himself, called Shadow Midas. He roamed around The Ruins (a damaged version of The Authority) in the same locations as he originally would: on the ground floor, on the staircases, in a hall, or in the meeting room. As Shadow Midas roamed around, he held his weapon, Shadow Midas' Drum Gun. This weapon was dropped when he is defeated, however no longer had a keycard. He didn't have his golden wrap, but a ghostly purple wrap around his weapon.

Strategy against Bosses[]

  1. Use fast-firing weapons. (Tactical Submachine Guns, Light Machine Guns)
  2. Get high ground and try to headshot with high damage weapons, then dodge behind strong buildings when the boss shoots at you. (Other boss weapons, Bolt-Action Sniper Rifles, Assault Rifles, Revolvers)
  3. Wait for the storm to come and the storm will eliminate the boss very quick. (Remember to get healing items)
  4. Use Headshots to knockdown bosses with Assault Rifles before he/she reacts.
  5. Decoys are also helpful for distracting the boss if he/she is shooting at you non-stop and you need to run from other enemy players.
  6. They have 400 shield and 100 health, so 2 Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle headshots can knock the boss down. (Or 2 Legendary Hunting Rifle headshots in devices that are still in v13.40)
  7. Have a disguise on so bosses won't attack until you get the first few shots in.
  8. Avoid taking damage from large attacks, unless you have shield to take the hit.
  9. DO NOT stand very close to the boss and attempt to fight with Shotguns, since they require close-range. (Unless you are using a Charge Shotgun or Combat Shotgun and using the 2nd strategy.)
  10. DO NOT attack a boss with large groups of Henchmen still around, or they will all shoot at you at once.
