Introduced Patch 1.6
Last Adjustment Patch 11.11
Vaulted Patch 7.40

The Grenade is a Common explosive weapon in Battle Royale. It can be thrown to deal damage and stagger enemies in an area. Grenades drop in stacks of 3 with a maximum stack size of 6 (formerly 10), and can be found in Floor Loot, Chests, and Supply Llamas. Grenades were vaulted in Update 7.40, however they were still in the Playground and Creative modes. With the initial patch of Fortnite Season 9 (v9.00), they returned to the game, replacing Clingers.

On Patch 11.11, the Grenade's max stack size has been nerfed from 10 to 6 probably because it was too overpowered in Arena where players were spamming them at builds.

The Grenade has been re-enabled in Patch 12.40.
