Gold (formerly known as Seasonal Gold) is an Account Resource that can be earned as a reward for completing missions. It is used to purchase items through the Event Store. As of the 4.0 release, the seasonal cap on gold was removed. Due to the change, the name Seasonal Gold was renamed to Gold. As of the 7.40 release, the 5,000 cap on gold (which limited how much gold an account could hold at one time) has been removed.
