Fortnite Guide to Holiday Survival was a Save the World Event introduced in Patch 1.11. The event featured a quest line, a Survive the Storm event, Mini-Bosses, and the Holiday Heroes and Vacuum Tube Weapons sets. The event also introduced the Event Store, and made available there three "Wintery" weapons.

Tickets and Llamas

Main article: Vindertech Store

Players earned Snowflake Tickets while playing during the Holiday event. They were used to purchase Holiday Llamas at the price of 1000 tickets per Llama.

Mini-Bosses

Mini-Bosses are super-tough versions of the Husk, Husky, and Smasher that have up to four randomized gameplay modifiers attached. Mini-Bosses can appear in many different mission types, indicated by Mini-Boss Mission Alerts that appear on the theater map.

Survive the Storm

Fortnite Guide to Holiday Survival featured the return of the Survive the Storm Mission type, this time on a brand new Winter survival map, with festive trees, snow and a mountain vista. In addition to 1,000 Snowflake Tickets, players were rewarded with exclusive banner icons for completing each of the three levels of Survive the Storm difficulty.
