The Fortnite Fishing Frenzy was a competition held by the skin Triggerfish in Chapter 2, Season 1, where players from November 22 to November 24 has to catch the most amount of fish to get irl or in-game rewards. There was also an article posted by them that you can find here!

Rules[]
- Must have 2FA to enter
- The Fishing Rod was the only tool that counts for each categories. The Harpoon Gun was forbidden and using it doesn't count towards progress.
- Each regions has one champion per category.
- Must be 13 or older to participate
- All content and accomplishments must be achieved prior to the end date of the event
- Limit one prize per player from any of the Top Angler, Small Fry Champion, Flopper Champion, Slurpfish Champion, and Mythic Goldfish categories
- You were only able to fish for the completion in the core gamemodes : Solo, Duo, Squads. Team Rumble, LTMs or other modes doesn't count.
- Any players participating must agree to adhere to the Community Guidelines found here and full Triggerfish’s Fishing Frenzy Rules also found here!

Each region (Europe; Asia; Oceania; Brazil; Middle East; NAE + NAW combined, for a total of 6 regions instead of 7) will have one winner for each category, where each one have a different "goal" :

- The winner is the person who catches the most amount of fish in one single match
- One Champion for each region
- Reward : Engraved Llama Trophy (IRL)
- Top Winner : ろっくちゃんだぞ (Asia) with 129 fish caught being 1st if you count every regions.
Small Fry Champion :[]
- The winner is the person who catches the most amount of Small Fries during the whole competition.
- One Champion for each region
- Reward : Engraved Llama Trophy (IRL)
- Top Winner : なつはるまき (Asia) with 9677 Small Fries caught being 1st if you count every regions.
Flopper Champion :[]
- The winner is the person who catches the most amount of Floppers during the whole competition.
- One Champion for each region
- Reward : Engraved Llama Trophy (IRL)
- Top Winner : WeirdBud (North America) with 6578 Floppers caught being 1st if you count every regions.
Slurpfish Champion :[]
- The winner is the person who catches the most amount of Slurpfish during the whole competition.
- One Champion for each region
- Reward : Engraved Llama Trophy (IRL)
- Top Winner : noronoro2000 (Asia) with 3115 Slurpfish caught being 1st if you count every regions.
Myhtic Goldfish :[]
- There is no specific winners. You just need to catch 1 to get the prize.
- If you catch one, you get the prize.
- Reward : Bottom Feeder Pickaxe
