The Birthday Challenges were a set of challenges released on September 26th, 2020 to celebrate Fortnite's 3rd Birthday. The challenges lasted from September 26th, 2020, to October 2nd of the same year. The Challenges granted players an emoticon, a spray, a wrap and a free emote that is granted when players log in to Fortnite during its 3rd birthday.

During the 6 day course of the event, Cake Slices and Birthday Presents will be available across the map. Cake slices give 5 health and shield when consumed, while birthday presents can be thrown to create a box full of loot.
