Floating Island was a moving unnamed POI on the Battle Royale Map, previously floating above Leaky Lake. The Island had a whirlpool and giant tornado around it that allows players to jump in to it to fly and use gliders. The Island was broken into 3 big pieces and 3 smaller pieces in Patch 6.20. The Island was originally part of Loot Lake.
Inside the crater left behind from the Island were treasure chests, rusty cars, broken pipes, and random loot. Attempting to jump in to the center of the vortex would allow the player to be bounced out of the hole, negating any fall damage.
