The Firefly Jar is a Rare explosive that has been added to Fortnite in the 13.00 content update, which came alongside the hotfix 13.00.2 update on June 23rd. It can be obtained by finding fireflies on the island and capturing them by interacting. It deals 40 damage to opponents if you hit them, it catches nearby flammable objects on fire, drops in stacks of 1 and its maximum stack size is 6. You can also find them from eliminating Marauders or opening a Loot Llama, both drops a stack of 3.

The Firefly Jar can only burn wood player-built buldings and wood structures.

In Patch 13.20, the Firefly Jar's max stack was increased to 6 instead of 3.
