Fall damage is a type of damage incurred when a player falls from a great height.

Save the World[]

Battle Royale[]

Fall damage can occur in Battle Royale in two ways. Players can fall from a great height by themselves or another player can cause them to fall (e.g., by destroying a platform the player was on). If the fall results in a elimination it is credited as a self-KO or self-elimination in the former case, or a KO/elimination for the other player in the latter.

Fall damage does bypass Shield Points the player has. The amount of damage incurred from the fall depends on how far the player fell, with the minimum height being 20 meters. Falling from a height of less than 20 meters is harmless. It is possible for a player to break their fall if he/she is descending near a wall by building a platform that connects to it. Another way to avoid fall damage is to throw an Impulse Grenade or Shockwave Grenade to the ground and land on the ensuing explosion to break the fall, although this technique requires precise timing. One more way to avoid fall damage is by using a Bouncer.

The fatal fall damage height is 23 meters, where the player loses 100 HP. The maximum amount of fall damage a player can incur is 500 HP.

In Season 6, players that have consumed a Shadow Stone will be immune to fall damage while invisible.

Near the end of Season 8, the Shadow Bomb was introduced, making the player immune to fall damage while invisible for 6 seconds.

When a player gets killed by fall damage themselves, the Elimination Feed would say "[player name] didn't stick the landing (Distance in meters)".

When a player kills an opposing player with a fall, the Elimination Feed would say "[player #1] eliminated [player #2] with a great fall (Distance in meters)".
