Crafting it yourself is the only way to be completely certain of its quality. Stage 1 of 3 - Craft a Mechanical Bow, a Mechanical Explosive Bow, and a Mechanical Shockwave Bow (3) Season xp icon24K You see? Like an extension of your own body. Use it well.
T-Soldier-HID-770-Athena-Commando-F-MechanicalEngineer-L In my opinion, they're way superior to Primal weapons. Stage 2 of 3 - Deal damage with Mechanical weapons (300) Season xp icon24K Like I said, you can't beat that mechanical precision.

We should try and find some samples of local literature. Stage 2 of 3 - Obtain literature samples from Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row (4) Season xp icon24K The language is all... garbled. So strange. How did this place come to be?

Lara Croft

If we're going to work together, you need to prove you can handle yourself. Stage 3 of 3 - Get a headshot with a bow (1) Season xp icon24K Just as I would have done it. Not bad.
New Rex

Rex

Gia taught me how to do this! Tame a boar (1) Season xp icon24K Look at all those new friends!

Trivia[]

  • For some interesting reason, these weekly quests became available on a Tuesday rather than Thursday, however no Legendary challenges have released yet with these weekly quests, meaning it is possible they still release on Thursdays.
    • Fortnite confirmed that although these epic quests have been released early, the Legendary quests will release on Thursday, and all weekly quests starting the next week will start on Thursdays again like usual.
  • A Mechanical Bow requires a Makeshift Bow and three Mechanical Parts to craft.
  • The location with the most Ziplines is The Spire, with several going from across the location to all the way to the top of the stone tower.
  • Dealing damage with classic weapons like the Pump Shotgun and Assault Rifle count towards Mechanical damage because they are mechanical despite not being called it. Weapons labeled Makeshift or Primal weapons will not count towards the damage.
  • Some locations to find the literature samples is in the book store east of Retail Row, in the basement of the hotel and gas station southwest of Lazy Lake, and the blue and brick houses on the west/northwest sides of Pleasant Park.
  • The best way to tame a Boar is to craft a Hunter's Cloak (requires two Meat and three Animal Bones to craft), equip the cloak, and walk up to a boar without damaging it, and there should be a prompt to tame it.
    • In Rex's description, he mentions someone named Gia, although there is no character in the lore named Gia. It is possible this could be the real name for Tricera Ops, another dinosaur suited outfit that usually releases in the Item Shop with Rex
