- Astro Assassin replaced Gemini, a scrapped outfit that had been in Battle Royale's files for a long time. Gemini was replaced due to similarities to a character from the game Paladins, the decision of which upset many players.
- Astro Assassin was planned to have a selectable style that is red, but it was scrapped for unknown reasons.
- Upon its first release, Astro Assassin's Back Bling, Cryo Hops, incorrectly displayed the text "Complete Gemini Challenges" on the top-left corner of the screen. This is probably because Epic didn't remake the Cryo Hops back bling, and just bundled it with Astro Assassin.
