The Air Strike was a Legendary explosive utility item in Battle Royale. It could be thrown, and upon landing it created a red cloud around the landed area that plays siren sounds. After this, 20 missiles would rain down on the surrounding area that damage and destroy any nearby players or structures.

The Air Strike was vaulted on Patch 10.00, making it only available in Playground and Creative. It was probably vaulted due to it being quite impractical. When it was vaulted the max stack was increased to 4.

Trivia[]

The Air Strike's design and functionality bears a resemblance of the character Gibraltar's ultimate from the game Apex Legends.
The Air Strike, alongside the Bottle Rockets, were leaked on March 4th, 2018. Both items were released only a year after being leaked.
In Chapter 2, Season 3 a glitch where the bombardment area wasn't getting bombarded correctly and the grenades weren't exploding in the area it appeared.
- This glitch got fixed in Patch 13.2.
