Agent John Jones, also known as John Jones, Agent Jones or Agent Jonesy, is a character in the Battle Royale story. Little is known about him other than that he is a member of the Imagined Order organization, and has entered The Loop many times, creating many snapshots. In addition, Agent Jonesy was the one to recruit various bounty hunters to cause chaos during Chapter 2 Season 5.

The Device Event

John Jones was first seen in The Device Event were he was talking to someone on a phone outside his office commenting on the current state of The Device and the Imagined Order's offices. His office had classified files on Midas, Jules and Lynx with a GHOST cup on his desk.

Phase 2 of The Device Event:

"Uh no. E-everything is NOT stable over here. We are act-- Uh, Janice! Janice! Uh, dial the Resonance Actuator to 7.2. Now. Please. Yes, right now." - John Jones

"I'm on it!" - Janice (Envoy)

"Wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on, hold on... "It's not just a storm?" What does that mean?" Must be connected to the loop, but there's no way we could have predicted that it would react THIS way. At this--" - John Jones

Phase 3 of The Device Event

"And that worked? How long do you think it'll hold? Good, good. Everything is, uh, starting to stabilize here. Nothing seems to be-- ...What the...?" - John Jones

John Jones then enters his office spotting the player.

"How are you even-- Wait... Wait, wait, wait. Can you- can you HEAR me?" - John Jones

John Jones could be seen alongside various characters doing Wakandan Salute to Black Panther at Panther's Prowl.

The Devourer of Worlds Event

After Galactus was sent back to his reality a cinematic scene plays showing John Jones lying on the floor in his office as the Imagined Order's offices are collapsing while his phone rings. He then wakes up confused and shocked.

Chapter 2 Season 5 Story Trailer

John Jones then picks up the phone

"They did it, we're still here!" - John Jones

"Yeah but the Zero Point is exposed, you have to go in." - Unknown

"Oh come on, last thing we need is another snapshot of me inside the loop." - John Jones

"No, the last thing we need is someone escaping the loop. You need to get in there and fix it." - Unknown

"Understood ma'am, I'm on it." - John Jones

He then drops they phone, picks up his back pack with a Rift gun inside and leaves his office.

"And do not draw the attention of The Seven. Jones, are you there?" - Unknown

In the hallway we can see the Imagined Order's offices collapsing while panicking IO Guards run past. John Jones walks across the hallway to enter a room titled D204. Inside is eight Rift Beacons on the ceiling, a large hole in the centre that transports people inside The Loop and a panel.

"Alright, I just need to stabilize the Zero Point and reseal the bridge, but not let anyone escape. Easy, right?" - John Jones

He then walks over to the panel and begins typing.

"Okay, locate the best hunters across all realities." - John Jones

"Signatures triangulated and aligned. Execute." - Robotic Voice

"This better work." - John Jones

He then activates the Rift Beacons which shoot a purple orb into the hole that begins sucking everything into it. John Jones grabs the panel to prevent himself being sucked in before letting go and falling into the hole. He then speeds up is acceleration before hitting The Zero Point.

Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass Trailer

The Chapter 2 Season 5 Battle Pass trailer has John Jones explain his plan and reveal the first seven hunters he gathered.

"No one is escaping the loop. Not on my watch. I've been gathering the greatest hunters across all realities, and I started with the best. Cost a lot of credits to convince Mando, but this is the way. The plan - Pure chaos. And no one will sow it better then them. Menace. Reality's greatest gladiator. The guy has never been defeated. Mancake. A flapjack forged on a griddle of rage. And Mave you know, just a shapeshifting barbarian warrior. As the explore the island, they'll have scores to settle and bounties to collect all while we get ready for the next phase. And we're just getting started. So, what are you waiting for? The Hunt is On." - John Jones

"Reality Log 3DO-T I, uh-- What--? No, no, I- I- I'm tryin' to record my audio... log thingy... I- I told you, it's... it's just not working. No no no no no, I'm watching you. Uh huh, yeah yeah yeah, no y- y- you say the thing and you... [sigh] Sure. (clears throat) HADOUKEN! See? It doesn't-- I- I'm telling you, I'm trying. Yes. Yes. I know. You showing me? It's not helping. There's a... (sigh) let's call it a huge void between where you are and where I am. Right, right. And there you go with the "shoryuken" again, right? That- that- that one's no good either. And you wanna know why? Because skill-wise? That's you over there. And alllllllllllll the way over here... That's me! Yeah, uh, this is gonna take a second. And, uh... I am almost out of quarters." - John Jones

Reality Log 246

"Reality Log 246, uh... I must've gotten my coordinates wrong or something. Because, as far as I can tell, this is just a very normal spaceship on a very normal shipping route. Running on tech that seems to be from 1986, so that's a little (burp) concerning, but... Crew's been real nice. Super chill, it's just uh... Ooh. I dunno if their cooking is agreeing with me though, I've... heh, got some-- (burp) ohh, some kind of heartburn. Ahem. I'm gonna see if they've got like a... space antacid or something." - John Jones

Reality Log 474

"Reality log... does it even matter? What's the point of recording these logs if you're not going to listen? We've lost control of the Zero Point, do you get what that means? You must not because you're doing nothing. I've dedicated my life to the Order. I've given everything. And for what? To just sit back and watch Reality end? That's not who we are. At least it's not who I am. Not anymore." - John Jones

Reality Log 475

"This is agent Jones, requesting access to restricted file 8752. *Access Denied Beep* This is agent Jones, requesting access to restricted file 8752. *Access Denied Beep* Oh-ho-ho. Really. No time to stabilize reality, but PLENTY of time to revoke my credentials. [sigh] This is agent Jones, requesting access to all materials related to The Seven. *Access Denied Beep* Hoooooo. Great. Ok. If you're not going to give me what I need - I'm just going to have to take it." - John Jones

Michonne and Daryl arrive Through the Zero Point

Daryl Dixon shoots two crossbow shoots into a group of walkers. John Jones then falls out of a Rift and onto a walker killing it. He then stands up and dusts his shoulders off. He then reaches into his bag pulling out his Rift gun transporting himself, Daryl Dixon and Michonne to the Island.

Sarah Conner and the T-800 Arrive Through the Zero Point

The T-800 is almost submerged in the molten metal when John Jones falls out of a Rift grabbing the chains with his feet and the T-800 with his right hand. Using his left hand he activates his Rift gun transporting them both back to the Island.

Legendary Fighters Ryu and Chun-Li Arrive Through the Zero Point

A Street Fighter II arcade machine begins a match between Ryu and Chun-Li.

"Round 1. Fight!" - Announcer

A 16-Bit John Jones then arrives through a Rift. He reaches into his backpack pulling out his Rift gun. he then activates it sending himself, Ryu and Chun-Li to the Island.

Ripley and The Xenomorph Arrive Through the Zero Point

Ellen Ripley attempts to ward off a large group of Xenomorphs that are slowly approaching her using a flamethrower. When her flamethrower runs out of fuel she gently places the flamethrower on the floor before walking backwards towards a door. The door opens revealing John Jones holding the Weyland-Yutani Cat Carrier and his Rift gun. He then activates his Rift gun, ending the trailer.

The Zero Crisis Finale Event

This is an upcoming Live Event that will take place on the 16th of March 2021 when Chapter 2 Season 6 launches. It's been hinted that John Jones will appear during the event.
